Arrived and started fishing about 9:30 am. Probably later than we should have. Weather was great with temps at about 70 and sunny out. Just have had a few days rain tot the south and did not mess up the stream. Water up a little cloudy and cold, but very fish able and surprised how good it looked.
A variety of smaller sulphurs and even smaller BWO coming off. Not heavy, but enough to keep the fish coming up in the softer water. Not for any of my flies! Did get one one a grify nat then no signs went back up. Tried some nymph and didn't well there either. Again should have gotten there earlier maybe.
Ran into Fred who is running The Yellow Creek Coalition is holding its 2nd Annual Pig Roast. 2nd Annual Pig Roast to benefit a new access bridge that is needed to access the current parking lot at the FFO area on Yellow Creek in Bedford County. The event is being held on June 20 at 1:00pm at the Lundquist Pavilion just up from the FFO area.
