Stopped on the way home to Wash County by way of Yellow Creek. Water was a bit stained...a slight brown tint like very weak tea...good flow...
First to everyone involved in that project and the Yellow Creek group...outstanding job...easy paths, nice parking area...thank you for all you do in preserving this opportunity to fish...
I ran into a group of great guys in the parking lot from Gettysburg...nice talking to you...but they had done very well in the morning on buggers, small nymphs...
We go there around 1:45 pm...it was some more tough fishing for me...story of my weekend with only on solid strike...caddis started to come off sporadically during the day but nothing in large numbers..partner hooked into a 10" or so fish...on a size 18 flashback PT but rest of the day we couldn't raise a fish...or entice one to take a nymph, caddis, bugger etc...very warm out there..
Again, whatever you guys with the Yellow Creek group are doing...keep doing it...thanks for allowing me the opportunity to enjoy your part of the world for a few hours...
