I had about 3 hours yesterday afternoon so i made the 25 minute drive to the Yellow Creek ffo section. I had just about an hour and a half to fish after i stopped at the cogos for some gas and a couple slices of pizza. The creek is low and clear like everything else in the area so long leaders and 6x tippet was basically a necessity. A fwew olives were flyingyou with somethe caddis hereand and there and cranethe flies also.I stopped at the bottom of the molly gordon run and fished it to the top. I used a green weenie with a bwo nymph dropper, it seems like if they dont take the weenie its kind of an attractor and then they see the othef fly. I didnt catch anything sizeable but lost a bow in the 13-14" range. The little bow in the middle of the picture really tickled me though, thats the first wild rainbow ive caught in Yellow creek. All in all my hour and a half was well spent and put me in a good mood for the rest of the day.

Oh heck yeah! That bows a full fledged skittle. They are so neat when they are like that. Worthy of any fish aquarium.
