Yellow Creek, Bedford Co., 2/3/18

Winter reward ! Fished Yellow Creek in Bedford County on Saturday Feb 3.
Just below the FFO area.
Air temp about 32 degrees (had to intermittently pick ice out of the rod tip .)
Fished about 3 hours .....caught one 12 ' brown and then had the thrill of the winter to this point......a feisty 20" rainbow probably well over 3 pounds !
Caught both fish on a size 20 green flash bead head nymph, trailed off of a walt's worm.

How was the crowd?

Fish active or pretty sluggish?

I was the only person down below the FFO section.
Did not notice anyone up above me , but it was pretty cold so I doubt that there were many people out.


The fish were holding in the deeper , slower water, but they hit pretty aggressively.
