Awesome day down at Allenberry and the Run. My daughter caught her first trout (12" brown) on the fly after about 8 misses on a #16 Irresistable. I will try to post a pic later. In all, we landed nine trout on the Irresistable, #18 Ladybug, #18 Foam Beetle, #14 Yellow Honeybug. Lots of surface activity down at Allenberry in the faster runs. Best stretch was right below the dam at Allenberry. Once we moved upstream of the dam, the action really tailed off. The fish were just hugging the bottom. We didn't get back into them until the Run which had quite a few guys on it. The good thing is that she is bugging me to go back out ASAP. If you are on the stream on Monday and you see two redheads, say hello and introduce yourself. Tight Lines
