Yellow Breeches Run, Cumberland County, 2/22/15

Time & Weather: I was out from about 12-4 with nice weather. Temp was around 40 degrees with mostly sunny conditions.
Water: The clarity was pretty clear and about 45 degrees.
Overall: I caught 4 nice ones and countless other hookups. "Hot" flies were Hare's Ears and Zebra Midges. There was a good amount of folks there tonight with the warmer temps. Didn't see too many things hatching except some tiny midges. Good Luck

Unless the op in a guide, or other industry professional, I think it's fine. At least that's how I interpretted the rules. Maybe I missed something.

This is a short but good report: it describes conditions, flies, fishing pressure, bugs etc. Well done.

I was in the area yesterday afternoon so I stopped by "the run" just to check it out. There were a number of fishermen enjoying the afternoon with temps hovering in the low 30's. I fished for about 1 1/2 hours. Brought 3 rainbows and 1 nice brown to hand with 3 or 4 other hook-ups that slipped the hook on me. I was fishing with a size 16 orange egg pattern. There were a few fish rising sporadically. I don't know what they were on but seeing no olives in the air I am assuming they were taking midges in the afternoon sunshine. It was kind of like therapy just to string up the rod and manage to put a bend in it with a few nice fish. It was also very enjoyable chatting with some other flyfishermen who were out there trying to break a case of cabin fever.

While I may be affiliated with Orvis, I am not that much of a "professional". Granted, I may have better access to things in "the business" and more time to fish than a lot of other people, but I am not a super guide or a real professional. dc - funny how they zero in on eggs in the winter huh ? easily my most successful winter fly pattern by far.

fishing a heavy stonefly with an egg dropper is deadly imho.
