Yellow Breeches, Cumberland Cty 2/5/17

Fished the open water this morning from about 8:45 to 12:45. Air temp was about 32 degrees to start and 39 when I left. Water temp was 47 (warmer than I expected). Water was low at 154 cfs.

It was a good morning and caught all wild browns. I tight lined where I could and floated the sighter everywhere else. Fished all lightly weighted nymphs with the low water. I saw one enthusiastic rise, but that was it for surface activity. When I got back to my vehicle I came across this guy.

Neat report. It was indeed a nice day to be out on the Breeches.

I saw a bunch of little black stones on my windshield the other day. Sadly I wasn't able to fish.
