Fished a section that I had never been to before, several miles upstream of Boiling Springs. Water flow was low and clear, which given the number of showers the past week, was hoping for more water. Also disappointing was the water temp, which was 66-67*, too high for the cool weather we had been having. Day hit highs of 85*, though evening was overcast and periods of brief showers.

Nothing in the net, though some Gray Fox were hatching. Observed no sulphurs coming off. Fish were rising sporadically to the gray fox. Spent most of the time observing and talking with a guide doing the same - we knew a lot of the same people in the area and had a pleasant conversation.

I sat along the stream yesterday evening (7:15 - 8:30) and saw maybe ten sulphurs total, a couple of caddis, and two rises. The spot was some point between Messiah College and Lisburn.

Don't know where the bugs have been on the Breeches this year. I saw only one good sulphur hatch this year at the beginning of the month and nearly nothing since.
