Superfine weather today. Fall like, and a wonderful day to be fishing! I fished from 3pm until 7pm. I started at the end of the "Run" and went downstream to the dam.

Water temp 63, and the water was nice and clear.

I saw a small midge hatch with small trout rising on them...... but I couldn't get a hit on a dry fly. All trout caught on beadhead micro buggers.

I took my 3wt fly rod today (pic of my 3wt as I was leaving), and I saw 3 spin guys and 1 other fly guy! LOL The spin rods are out numbering the fly rods!

I caught a few (I didn't keep count) browns, bows, chubs, and two brookies.

I like the last pic. I prefer to fish just downstream from that spot when in the area.

Nice report, ill have to try fishing that creek this weekend

Yep I really like to fish that stretch. Had a blast during early summer on swinging sulfur wets

Yep I really like to fish that stretch. Had a blast during early summer swinging sulfur wets and during late summer wet wades through that deep water. When there isn't anyone else around, I just keep moving down stream nymphing until the late rise before dark. Really fun.

sipe,

So how did you make out this past weekend?

I was bailin' the trout there for the past week. They restocked 1.5 weeks ago, and there are so many hungry stockies that will hit almost any fly.

I went after bluegills the past couple days for something different.
