Fished the upper section of the C&R, with Maurice yesterday. Couldn't get started till around 1:30, right at the heat of the day.

Did see some rising fish, to what I have no idea! Was able to catch 4, with the orange ant, but missed a bunch of fish, rusty I guess. Sure was nice to fish again!

Great to see you're back on the water. I'll bet you're not rusty - summer fish at Allenberry are the toughest fish to hook on dry flies that I have seen anywhere in the US! I think I was about 3 for 15 last week. The fish wanted small terrestrials but I just couldn't hook 'em.
