Fished at Allenberry from 645 until around 0830, water was low and clear; although I didn’t take the temp it was cool to the touch. No apparent hatch early on but did well again on #14 Tan Caddis with a #14 Iain’s Brass *** in tandem. Didn’t see any in the air but about 0800 the trout started sipping Trico’s and I had a great half hour with a # 22 male spinner with a bit of sparkle in the wings.
Parked away from the new scrubs but can see why there is concern ‘cause on my way out there was someone parked in that area and his tire tracks were evident in the soft soil.
