Just got back from the Breeches at Allenberry. I absolutely tattooed the fish below the dam at the resort. I started at the end of the project and worked my way upstream. After twenty, I stopped counting...Only two flies used were #16 Foam Hotspot Beetle and #16 Yellow Goofus. Lots of surface activity although I did not see anything hatching. I'm guessing they were taking some sort of emerger (splashy rises)??? Anyway, it sure beat staying home and eating the same old burnt hot dogs that my family prepares every fourth of July. Tomorrow, I'm heading up north since I have a three day holiday. We'll see what Centre County has to serve up....
