Fished at first hole below Allenberry dam from 0600 until around 0800. Water temp around 62 with fairly good visibility and no one else on the water. Was looking for some Trico action but there was nothing happening with them until almost 0730 when I finally got two small browns. Did do well with a tandem of a #14 Elk Hair caddis and a #14 Ian’s Brass *** tied on about 18” below. Caught a half dozen or more small browns and one rainbow on the dropper and had some refusals on the Caddis. What a great way to start the work day.
