Got a late start and didn’t get to the stream ‘till after 0700. Parked at the lake and walked down stream until I found some empty water and found fish rising to Trico’s. Had a good hour and a half of catching and missing takes, nothing real big and almost all browns. It didn’t seam to matter if I was using male or female and got away with #20 which made it easier to see them. I didn’t do much after the hatch, although I went through all of my terrestrials.

Paul, Sorry I missed you on Friday, my loss. I still owe you a trip to the Little J creek, it’s pretty much over grown now and the double digit days have gone to one or two an evening.

Sounds like you had a good morning. Fished on Sat. myself below the dam. Thanks for the advice I fished the lehigh trico size 22 in white and did well.

Glad you did well on the Trico’s.
Although it may seam a small point I think I should explain a little more about the style of Trico’s I mentioned. I did see the pattern at the Little Lehigh fly shop but they are credited to Al Miller and are called ‘Al’s Trico. Al passed recently and the boys at the fly shop are getting ready to dedicate a memorial to him. Not trying to advertise just give credit to a great guy and fly fisher.
