Just got back from fishing the Allenberry section of Yellow Breeches' C&R section. When will people learn to read the signs that fishermen are to park in the upper lot? Its just a matter of time before the owner of the resort tires of this ignorance displayed by a few and shuts down access for the rest of us...I understand that it is hot out and the hill is steep on the hike back out, but have some common courtesy. Fishing the resort property is a privilege not a right and can be revoked at any time. Both vehicles were from local dealerships so I know that "you know better." Sorry for venting...The fishing wasn't bad. I only caught six fish, but then I only fished for about 1.5 hrs. All fish were taken on a Foam Beetle #16. I didn't see any other fish caught nor did I see anything rising. I just cast the fly real tight to the shoreline on one side of a fish or behind the fish. At that, they promptly turned around and sucked the fly down with gusto. Shaed was few and far between and the Poland Spring water just wasn't douing the trick so I bounced out of there. Its time to go open some Molson Golden...Tight lines to all.
