My daughter and I decided to hit up Yellow Breeches around 3pm. I expected the Run to be packed, but it wasn't. In fact, outside of the two of us-I only saw one other person. Lots of out-of-state license plates in the parking lot so I guess they went downstream toward Allenberry. Between the two of us, we caught pretty close to thirty fish. Fish were pretty active on top. Best flies were #16 Foam Bee, #20 Griffith's Gnat, #22 Bubble Midge, #14 Pale Yellow Honeybug, #16 Pink Flashback Scud. Of the fish we caught, two of them were rainbows of 19" and 24" and a brown pushing 20". This was by far the best day I have had on the Run in quite some time as I usually bypass it for Allenberry in hopes of avoiding crowds and the infamous "bread hatch."
