Got up there about 3P and picked out a spot in the open area where I didn't see any cars parked. Started fishing the back of a very long glide where there are usually risers, working my way up to some riffles. There were some olives about. Got one wild and one stocked brown on top with an 18 cdc dun. Some sulfurs started to show. Had one take a sulfur wet in the riffles. After that I fished wets and dries tossing them around for a couple hours. Nothing. Took a snack break at the second riffle and thought well, duh, there is nothing really rising besides a couple here and there. Tied on a prince nymph and dropped a hare's ear off that and proceeded to have steady fishing till I quit at a bit after eight all the while wondering "what the heck was fritz thinking for those two hours". Saw BWOs, sulfurs, Light cahills and caddis throughout the evening. Nothing really going strong enough to get them going on top.
