Fished the C&R area Friday and Sunday afternoon. Started off slow, but noticed spent olive mayflies in the film so switched to a size 18 BWO parachute ( Thank you Mike Heck!) and hooked up immediately. Missed a few others and what always happens inevitablely, i needed to redo my leader during prime time. While i was messing with the leader the action died down. i experimented with a few patterns, missed a few others but not many fish rising. I changed spots when i noticed consistent risers downstream of me. i saw fish actively hitting caddis so i tied on an elk hair. For about an hour and half i had steady action landing a good number and missing many more. Lots of fun. I had similar experience on Sunday with the best action coming once the sun sunk behind the hill.
