Excellent Dorothea and possibly Invaria emergences both days from about 2:30 to 6:00. Lots of duns in the air and high numbers on the water. Also some MB's present and a caddis with mottled gray wings and an olive body.
I didn't see any rises that looked like a typical dun rise. Every riseform appeared to be the fish boiling just under the surface. Had a 150 yard section totally to myself both days. This is an all tackle kill section and I was disappointed by the lack of numbers and size of the fish that I did see rise. While I caught half a dozen fish each day I felt the fishing should have been better considering all the may flys that were present.
