Breeches is in much better condition now than it's been for much of the last several weeks when water temps often went over 70.

We had a cold rain last night that brought the water level up nicely (141 cfs this afternoon). Water temp just above the confluence with The Run this afternoon was 65 degrees and I got 61 in the upper section of the stream, which was several degrees cooler than the last time I checked a few days ago.

I fished briefly in the upper section: the fishing was tough and my terrestrials didn't tempt as many fish as I had expected considering the better conditions (although there were many fish visible). All the fish I caught and saw were wild.

No hatch activity and no surface feeding.

Rising fish but you need to break the code. Terrestrials have been the ticket for me

I fished at Allenberry Sun. 9/18 and landed 3 nice fish in the hour I fished, all on wooly buggers. Tried hoppers, beetles, and ants with no takers.
