Karen and I fished Saturday and Sunday on the Yellow Breeches and the surrounding area in South Central PA. It was a beautiful weekend although we had some significant rain on Thursday and into Friday. As a result, the Yellow Breeches was high and a bit off color. It looked nice but it really put down the hatches. I saw no caddis as I saw the previous weekend. Saturday's high was about 60 and Sunday was around 70 but no rising fish in the Breeches. You could get them on woolly buggers, streamers, and other sub-surface offerings. I took a few on a black woolly bugger and a few on a green weenie. We also caught lots of fish in The Run on midges.
Caught a few of these wild stream-bred browns in the Breeches. I've been getting a lot of these.
Karen got a few nice fish in The Run.
