I was finally able to get out and fish. With all the items on the honey-do list and my son's football, it's been 3 months since I have been able to get out. And what a beautiful day it was.

I started at the run around 3 pm. There were a lot anglers around so I didn't hold much hope of catching anything there. I only saw about half a dozen and after awhile headed to the main stem. I let several guys fish up then I headed down stream. I managed two fish and missed two others as I fished about 150 yards down. Three of the fish were

I was fishing the run at about the same exact time yesterday as well. As Stevie-B said, there were a good amount of anglers out yesterday. Caught 3 out of the last good riffle of the run before it combines with the main branch. Seems there is always some fish stacked up in that hole as the past few times I've fished the section I've had action in there. Was high sticking with my own #16 BH PT / Hares ear creation in tandem with a #18 chartreuse ribbed zebra midge with pearl glass bead. All were taken on the midge.

Didn't really mess around too much through the slow section of the run as I wasn't see many rises, so I made my way down to the dam. Low flows are still causing a slow foam pool on the side closest to the wall, and I was surprised so see several fish cruising just below the surface in there. Turned a few fish dead drifting various nymphs on the bottom, but was able to catch one just under the surface swinging a hares ear wet.

I usually fish this section or some open regs spots on Sundays. Let me know if you guys are out there anytime during Sundays as I wouldn't mind tossing some lines with you.

Nice to meet you Stevie-B. It seems the wilds are still more abundant as I took one and fished for a very nice one that myself or sightnymph just couldnt get to take. Took mine on beetles and san juans and sight took his on smaller stuff.
I miss the very large stockies that used to be in there and catching them on #22 dries but atleast the wilds are picking up as much slack as they can.
