WEATHER: Mostly cloudy, some intermittent sun then drizzle, very warm air with temp around 60 degrees.
WATER: Just about ideal conditions: about 200cfs, a slightly high flow with a slight stain; 48 degrees. No other anglers where we fished. Some anglers on the Run.
HATCHES: None, with no surface activity.
Hit Breeches with a friend this afternoon briefly.
Stream looks great. Spent some time seining bugs (have some scuds!) then fished a bit. Had some luck on fish in skinny water and riffles. Deeper runs, surpringly, did not produce for me. Water temp was 48 and downstream at Boiling Springs, was 43 (just above the confluence with the Run). I suspect the conditions were enhanced significantly by the inch of warm rain we received here in SCPA last night. Colder temps are returing but, if you opt to fish YB this weekend, expect good water conditions. Fishing pressure will likely be moderate to high this weekend however (and possibly very high) due to everyone eager to shake off the cabin fever.
