Been out the last two evenings from 6ish until dark:30. Decent, finicky, midge/tiny olive action all evening. Tied on a whitefly dry as soon as I saw the first ones flit up out of the water. Hatch is currently pretty short in duration, 30-45minutes, maybe an hour long, and not super heavy. Trouts are keying on 'em once it starts though. Picked up a few nice & healthy 12-14" fish both nights, along with a small, palm sized sunny tonight. Unhooked the last ones at around 9:15. Surprisingly, I was about the only one to wait around for the hatch (not counting the bats). Was pretty nice to have the stream to myself, imagine that'll change soon enough. Turning on the headlamp for the walk out revealed not much coming off the water at that time. Whiteflies not quite in full swing yet, but they're winding up and it's pretty good fishin'...
