Yellow Breeches Creek Cumberland County 04/24/13

Hit Breeches yesterday. Arrived at 9:30am with a friend. We fished the catch and release til about 2:30. Caught a few fish on sz 18 PTs. Lots of hits on the swing. Hooked and lost a beautiful large brown on dries 2 times in a span of 3 hours in the same hole. Fished down to the dam and on way back up noticed the same fish was feeding on the surface again after he had been stung by a sz14 parachute Adams earlier in the day. First cast with a small brown caddis and he slurped it in. Fought for about 20 seconds until he shook the hook. Headed upstream for some wild browns in the afternoon before the rain came. Great day was had. Always surprised to see how many people are fishing this stream in the middle of the week. Hope they all had a great day as well.

Hit the trifecta on the Breeches earlier in the week above Lisburn. All on top on different flies. All stockers but the brookie was still beautiful.

Did well yesterday a few miles above allenbery.... Not sure exactly where the stretch was... Just found a bridge, walked a few hundred yards down, and worked my way back up. Was fortunate enough to bring 8 to hand. 6 came on a caddis dry, the other 2 came on a bwo soft hackle under an indie.
