Time:7-9pm

Location: Above Allenberry dam

Weather: Clear, slight breeze, 70's.

Water: Pretty clear, good level, mid-upper 60's.

Hatch: Good amount of hexes out, but the white flies weren't strong at all. Still a few good days away.

Fish: Caught 1 14inch brown on a white fly comparadun. Missed a few more as well.

Misc.: Stream was fairly crowded, not too many people catching fish though.

I think the hatch is about over. The white flies were pretty strong a few weeks ago. I was really surprised about the Cahill hatch in July. I normally considered it a sparse hatch but it was pretty heavy this year. The hexes were good for about a 1/2 hour then they were done . I left Allenberry about 8:15 last night.
