Time:7-10pm

Where: Between The Run and Allenberry dam.

Weather: Beautiful night, low 70's upper 60's, clear.

Water: Getting a bit lower, clear, mid-low 60's.

Hatches: Saw a good bit of tan caddis, still some sulphurs out, looked like a couple light cahills too.

Flies Used: CDC tan caddis sz 16=2 fish, Tan Elk Hair Caddis sz 16=3 fish, Sulphur parachute sz 16=3 fish.

Overall: Got to my spot around 7 and didn't see too many bugs flying or rising fish. So, I threw on a Cdc caddis and caught a couple. Then started to see more caddis come off and a few sulphurs popping. So I did a tandem of an Elk hair tan caddis and a sulphur parachute and picked up some nice fish. There was only a few other guys in my section. I was surprised that there wasn't more guys out. So I fished until around 10pm and headed in after a great night out.

I was out this evening from 7pm to about 9:30. Managed a couple Browns on a cdc caddis and a flashback nymph dropper. Fish started rising sporadically after dark to some caddis but nothing of great consequence. Still nice to get out.

Also got me halfway through the year to my goal of catching a fish in every month. I missed the sulfur hatch this year due to work travels. Was nice to get out again.
