After leaving Big Spring, I decided to stop at the Yellow Breeches since it was on my way home. Arrived at the run at 3pm and the air temp was 60, overcast with showers by this point in the day.
I saw two older gentlemen fishing the top end of the run. They were my only company for the rest of the day.
I still had the sz 16 hackelless caddis on so I tossed it in here and there on my way to the main stem of the creek. Somehow I caught two and missed one, twice, in the run (browns). I made my way down to the junction area and picked up 8 more browns and a decent size rainbow. One of the smaller browns may have been wild but I'll save that discussion for another thread. I worked my way downstream about 100 yards picking up fish here and there, breaking off two due to bad hooksets before calling it quits around 5:30pm.
I saw a small sz 20 sulfur flying around with the occasional rise but I was having too much fun with the caddis to change. A small pheasant tail nymph would of worked too since I removed one from the jaw of the rainbow I landed.
