I skipped out of work early yesterday, 3/9, to fish and got to the stream by 3:00 only to realize that my fly boxes were still on the kitchen table....arghh! I finally started fishing by 4:30 on the Breeches below the run. I hooked two but netted none. One nice brown leaped parallel to the surface and of course i panicked and it was free. There was a nice hatch of very large tan caddis flies as well as a very small "midge", i think. No fish were coming to the surface though. Can anyone confirm the hatch id?
