Air temp was 75* and water temp was 52* at dam and 56* downstream. Sunny to partly cloudy. Water was clear to slightly stained and a good flow. Thought it would be higher given the melting snow last week.
Started at dam by resort and worked way down stream to end of Allenberry property. First cast of the day netted a stream bred brown on a Walts Worm. And that was that.
Had two light hits downstream on a golden retriever and walts worm. Saw a couple of black stones hatching, but very few rises.
Saw two other fly anglers land trout, one reported on a scud. Finished up at the run for a few minutes.
Too many people for my taste, as I prefer native streams, but given my time today, it was nice to be outside.
