Fished the reg water below and above the flat water, from 10:30 to 2:30. wt 64, very clear and a tad low. Acording to the new PAFFing scale 🙂 I had a good day, landed 2 with crowe beetle, 2 with BWO, and the rest with orange ant.

Fishing is fun again!

Thanks PaulG. I've been fishing all around the Breeches lately and have also been having success with beetles and ants. I have yet to see a grasshopper as I'm dying to get my hopper dropper rigs out.

Here's some shots of today, 7/5, when I was out on the Breeches, Paul we might have crossed paths. Loved hooking into that palomino. The last one of the rainbow was caught on the West Branch of the Octorara on Friday, using my old Orvis Madison 3wt bamboo rod, that I had to share. I also got my friend into his first rainbow trout as well, super fun.

Somehow I missed you. Fished from about 7:30 - 12:00. Cost most of mine on a smal BWO and Adams. Many risers that did not take. There was no real hatch of Trico's which was puzzling to me maybe someone has more info. Thought maybe it was to cool in the AM.

I walked up from Allenberry past the flat water in that high grass, didn't see a hopper, usually a ton of them in there!

Sorry I missed you, must have walked right by you...next time. I didn't see any Tricos, although I didn't get there till 10:30!
