Thought I would fish the Breeches on Thursday. I wanted to see how the permit system works.Had no problem getting my permit for the morning. I wanted to dry fly fish so I headed up above the dam. I have fished that water for 50 years but, this was the first time I did not see a single fish rise on the north side of the stream or anywhere else. There were bwo's and midges enough to bring fish up but, as far as I could see up or down the stream there were no rises. I think was more on the sad side than mad of how that stream is dying.
