Upper: Arrived around 7:30 am at the nature preserve to a foggy and drizzle day and fished the small water for about 90 minutes. I got a couple small 4"ish gorgeous brookies on a #14 bead head flashback pheasant tail. Drove down to the Mill\Park (sorry can't remember the name it started with a B) and caught the skunk.
Middle: arrived at Middletown Park about 12:30. I got a few stocked browns on a size 10 52 Buick with a size 18 head hares ear dropper. Water level was normal with slight color.
Stopped at Allenberry and fished at the resort and above the Mill pond. I got several stocked browns 8-14" on the 52 Buick Hares ear combo, most on the hares ear. I know the work the state did disrupted everything, but it sure looks nice. I finished up the day at the racetrack with the Buick and hare's ear and continued to catch stocked brown trout.
It was a cool damp day, I believe the high was 56. I didn't take the water temp but it was cold. Lots of tiny midges hatching and what I believe was tan Caddis (not many).
