After the fishing the Upper Tully life was as it should be....on the road to another trout stream, Wyomissing Creek.
While on the road i called Spectorfly, who promptly told me he broke the first 6 inches of his road tip off. Both I and he thought he was going to leave and then he started catching wild browns on it while i was talking to him. We missed the exit and thats sad cause i know where i was going.
Once there we parked at the top end of the class a water. The section i wanted to fish was half way in the section.....1.25 miles away. It was like 11:30 am now........*Note this is an area that has a bathroom (for later reference).
Immediately after we met my brother it didnt long for take Slay to get into his first fish. First cast into that hole. We were using the same rig. If it aint broke dont fix it!
Refer to here for rig
This isnt a Limestone Spring Creek, so there isnt as many shrimp .These are wild browns but as any fish they like flashy things and are stupid 😛 After a long drought i started hooking up. We fished the whole way down past the end of the class a water. Though i know from fishing down to the sewer plant, they are there also. We also used the same 4 flies all day...neither of us had lost a rig. Eric was using a BH Olive Bugger. In all we lost count.....i know i was over 14 eric the same and slay the same. Only one out of 4 stockers landed. There isnt as many stockers left from the derby as there was last year. This made the wild trout fishing on a scale of Excellent. Hey Slay im going to quote you on the phone.....
"Theres kids screaming and playing basketball blasting Dave Mathews Band and were cathing wild brown trout. Its Awesome!"
There were bugs.....lots of midges.
Also a Note: To the people of the park. Yes we are fishing, yes there is fish in the stream and Yes they are wild browns.
Hungry and tired by now.....
the car so far away(3 miles....) and im so hungry......

We fished on the way back....hitting holes we missed fish in. We caught a bit few more. Then i had to use the bathroom. I hadent all day...this isnt going to be good.
There isnt another bathroom except the one 1.5 miles away. I finally got there and the darn thing is on the other side of a 10 foot fence. Apologies to the Wymossing Parks Dept....for me clearing your fence, ripping my jeans bad on them and using it ;-) The alternative wasent going to be very good.
Excellent day of fishing...im good for a bit ;-) Though i think me and Slay might hit another local wild trout stream this week for an hour or 2. I told ya you would start to love the wild trout fishing man!
