new member here, first time posting - so go easy on me!
I decided to take advantage of the gorgeous weather yesterday and hit the wissahickon with a friend. Water was in great shape, air temps started in the 50's and hit almost 70 by the afternoon. Fished three different spots (2 near rex ave. bridge. and the third at the covered bridge) Ended up catching 2 rainbows (one ~ 13", the other a bit smaller), both on green wooly buggers (size 10), tried a couple of other things - but kept going back to the buggers. both fish hit hard and were a pleasure to catch & release. Had another hard strike, but didn't get the fish hooked. All in all, a fantastic late fall day on the creek.
