Took a break from studyin the law to fish the Wiss behind my parents house abutting Ft. Washington State Park. Still lots of fish throughout, caught a half dozen trout on a number of different flies in an hour or so. Found some fish rising and took handful on an olive elk hair. A few Caddis were in the air with the midges. Got one on a black wooly bugger, had follows on every retrieve but found the fish backing off at the last second. Sizing down is the solution? All in all nice to get into some heavier fish than those in Valley, and close to home, but of course I'll take wild fish any day.
