Wiconisco: water temp surprisingly high 51. Water level also still high / fast and not very fishable. Visibility low at about 1 foot…not muddy just a deeply tinted green. Level continues to fall but other streams are more fishable right now. Caught a couple but was action was slow and hard to fish. Not a good choice when high since is fairly big water.
There was a nice hatch (stoneflies mainly but also something small) but no rises. Even without the high water no rises this early are common on Wici since it is fresh stocked trout only.
High school was there stocking the open water (but not the special regs which was stocked weeks ago)
