Water Temps: high 50's -- low 60's
Air Temps: high 80's

No major hatches, but a few caddis, and sulphurs.

Caught most fish on a sulphur parachute, but had success with BHFBPT and olive bugger.

I've heard of White Deer Creek (Centre), and White Deer Hole Creek (Lycoming). Which is the better to fish? Which is more of a walk to get back into? I'm guessing that it's White Deer Creek, but I just don't know.

Thanks for any advice and/or help.

george,

To be honest with you I've only ever fished White Deer Creek.
I do know that White Deer Hole Creek is fairly productive as well.

I could be wrong, but I believe that the "hole" creek is shorter and narrower.

(It's funny that they both dump into the susquehanna at the same spot, about 1/10th of a mile apart.

MKern,

Thanks for the info. Maybe it's a good excuse for me to spend a couple of days checking both of them out in the near future.

Bald Eagle State Park is nearby I think. If not, I'll find something.

Thanks again.
