1st time visit.

Good news: beautiful stream, caught some fish (double digits) and got a few wild trout (but most were stockies). Used a glo-bug even for the wild ones. The stream is completely wooded and undeveloped. Road parallels it but is not right alongside so need to walk in. Water crystal clear

Bad news: water temp 39 (brrrr) with SNOG (snow on ground) which stuck in big clumps to my felt soles. Its a long drive in on dirt road with snow in spots (most of road was clear) so was a little nervous driving in my sedan. Woods were completely SNOG. Also hoped it was float stocked but dont think it was.

Covered lot of water and finally realized fish were not spread out. They were in a few different spots so at least were not all in 1 hole. Except for one, the spots seemed like a hard walk in with buckets so maybe was floated but I think someone made a herculean effort to get buckets in. I commend whoever did that. The paths in were mostly rocky and overgrown so not easy.

White deer is a really nice stream and it always runs cold in the early season. It also has some nice hatches. Used to fish it a few times a year but haven't been up in a while. It is usually float stocked but like u said with all the snow maybe it wasn't this time.
