Weather was sunny and cool in the am (started about 8:30), high about 80. Stream was clear and above median flow as it has been most all of the Spring. Temp was likely mid sixties or so, didn't have a therm. No risers and just a few tan caddis here and there.

Fishing was steady and my usual no.14 bh caddis pupa did most of the work. Black ant (16) took a few as well. The quality of the fish was nice for this year; only caught one small rainbow but the average was 12-13". with a few larger fish as well. Some of the Browns had oranges spots and most had nice fins as well. Netted fish in 9 separate spots from well below the DH area to above it on the East Br. Did a lot of walking and most of the fish came out of fast riffles and runs.

My findings mirrored what Mike said; the stream was higher and cooler than usual for this date and the fish were in nice shape because it. Saw two other fly fishers and they were also C+R guys too.Nice reality break and fairly close to home.
