Taking into consideration bug activity and water conditions.

For bugs, probably May through June.

First week of May. There should be plenty of the 24” to 30” schoolies still around with a slight chance of catching a 40” plus fish. The closer you get to June the schoolies will give way to the 16” to 23” juveniles. Best option is by boat as Wading may be difficult. I look forward to the striper run every year and have been fishing it since tge 80’s. Enjoy.

Thanks to all the IG heroes, even night fishing is starting to become a little tight in certain areas up there. We did a float back in August finishing up with a pretty good nighttime stretch and I spent more time rowing around guys with go pros than we did throwing the mouse.
