What vestiges of history have you encountred while fishing?

I worked there in QA out of college in 1973-1974. Neat place for sure.

I like finding fossils in along the streams.Cone on cone are my favorite and these are the rarest.

You ever try the spring creek there at Buffalo Springs and Old Mill?

I wouldnt recommend it based on it nearly being impossible to get permission but if you can it is very much worth it.
