Fished West Valley Creek from 7:30PM-8:30 PM after work today. Got there and didnt see much of any hatches or any fish rising. Tried a weighted black wooly bugger just drifted down with no takers. Then after a few casts of slow retrieve fast stripped the bugger and got nailed right away, brought in a 16 inch Rainbow Trout. Getting alot of bigger of the fish in the creek hitting stripped buggers and minnow imitations. My Buddy who came with me , who was bait fishing also got a 16 inch on worms . It was really cold , in the 40's as we got out of there.
