Fished the Brandywine in Downington and then hit up the West Branch of VC. I fished from about 11am-4:30pm on the West Branch, saw plenty of fish but only caught one 11" rainbow. Caught the fish on a caddis larvae #16. I had seen several trout throughout the day but couldn't get close enough to cast without spooking them. Fish were feeding on the bottom, taking nymphs I guess. Water and air were both cold.
