With the major streams in the area looking like mud slides, decided to give some head waters a try. Water was cool and alittle stained when I got to the stream around 10am. Fished from the beginning of the game lands just about to the end. Rigged up a tandem nymph setup with the leading fly a bhfbpt and the dropper a tan scud. Picked up around 6, mostly very small browns in the 4-7 inch range. Fish were taking both flies. One of the browns was about 10 inches and put up a respectable fight. This was the second time I fished this stream this year and every time I leave I wonder why I dont fish it more often.
