I fished the West Branch from about 3pm-7pm on Saturday. Caught 5 little wild browns. They were from 4"-9". Caught them on an adams, BWO and a small march brown. There were fish rising everywhere and I managed to missed a bunch of them. Two bait/spinner fisherman showed up and started fishing the same hole I was. The whole stream was empty but they choose the hole I was fishing. Why do people do that?

On Sunday I fished the Little Lehigh from 11am-3pm. There were several flies hatching. Caddis and 2 or 3 types of mayflies. There weren't many rising fish though. I only saw one section with more than 1 riser. I fished nymphs all day and ended up with 5 browns and 1 rainbow. The browns were caught on a BH PT and the rainbow was on a BH baetis. I didn't see one other angler.

Oh no. The two bait/spinner fishermen you had the displeasure of running into are probably the same two that nearly cleaned the stream out a couple years ago. Came there every day for a couple weeks and kept every large fish they caught. Didn't see them last year but I fished the stream the other day and didn't catch anything over about 8 inches. Only had six total, and most were 4-5 inches. Thought something was wrong. Now I know what.

When that happens to me I usually ask them if they know what stream courtesy is. The results vary from ignoring the remark to moving.

When that happens to me they usualy get hit with my back cast a couple of times until they get the point :-x
