Went out this morning to find the stream high and muddy, as expected after all the rain we just had. Just figured I go down to the Ocoraro since I hadn't been there in a while. Water was 69. I was dead drifting a black wooly bugger through the riffles and chutes. I was able to pick up 1 about 8 inches. Came home figure I'll try lititz tonight.

Thanks rod. Its nice to hear that the water temp is still within brown trout limits. I think I may check it out tomorrow nite with a box of ants.

thanks for the report. I was stupid enough to go out yesterday and it was total chocolate milk. Didn't even bother fishing. It wasn't really raining where I live in Millersville but must have poured down in Quarryville.

Curious to see how you made out in Lititz. I fished the Conservancy this morning from 06:00-09:00 and managed a few chubs and that's it. The water was stained and somewhat low. Trout were rising, but I couldn't put my finger on exactly what. They seemed to be splashing around the base of trees, so all I can figure is ants were the order of the day. One of the toughest days I've had in the Conservancy yet. Weeds are high too!

I did go around 6:30 til 9. Yea managed a few chubs also. Did have one nice hook up on a #18 BH Hares ear. However, with my luck on that stream as I was stripping to get it on the reel it took off on another run while I was standing (stupidly) on the line at my feet and snapped off. Did not see anything rising the whole time I was there.
