Made a day trip to the West Branch Delaware. Water temp was 60 degrees at both access points I used. Cloud cover varied during the day from full sun to full clouds. Beautiful day. A few other fishermen, but not crowded.

Morning - Caught 2 small rainbows and a small brown on tricos. I have a real hard time seeing those little flies. Missed many more. The three I caught were beautifully colored.

Afternoon - Things really slowed down. Couldn't get any action on nymphs or dries.

Evening - Hooked two LARGE rainbows on a #18 olive. Both took me for a ride. Didn't land either.

The water was cold, but the flow rate was low. This makes access to many areas easy by wading, but has issues for trout management. Talked with some guys that fish it more than I do. They are very displeased with the current flow management policies. Even a little more release would make a huge difference.
