Fished above and below the iron bridge from 2-6 PM. Water clarity was good with excellent flow on this partly cloudy day. Air temps low to mid 60's. Water temp, I am guessing, was high 50's.
I was surprised to see no other cars as I pulled down to the bridge around 2 PM. I started upstream and landed two fish with first 3 casts. I got strikes or landed fish from every pool, riffle and run I cast into; usually within the first few attempts. The fish were very active hitting my CDC caddis emergers- gray and emerald. There were caddis coming off though heavier downstream and later around 5 PM. There were also midges and another mayfly like a crane fly coming off throughout the afternoon. I ended up landing double digit fish most in the 6-7" range with several over 10".
