4P-7P Clear, 60, decent flow. Few BWO's moving around. No much surface activity. Got two very small (under 4") on a Pheasant Tail under a big ant, Son got 1 about 7" on a surface ant.

There was a successful spawn, no doubt! Those little things are fearless. I abandoned the zebra midge dropper one morning last week and they still were grabbing a size 12 jigged pt...

Gives you hope beyond the creek. Thanks

🙂 Same experience on the Lil Lehigh Heritage stretch this weekend. Hope the herons don't get them all, but this cooler, wetter year bodes well, I hope!

Thanks for the report, good to hear that the stream is doing well. Water temp of 60 at this time of year is outstanding. I'm curious now if fish that size are ALWAYS aggressive in any stream, just trying to grow bigger, or if it's even more pronounced when they have a lot of competition for food on a stream like Valley.

Had the same experience on valley the other week- caught my smallest fish ever! Maybe 2" and loved every second of it. Took a 14 frenchie
